What the term covers

Six conversations a student needs before the first exam.

Leaving home

What changes when nobody is checking, and how to keep the parts of home worth keeping.

Hostel life and friendships

Choosing company, saying no, and handling the first real conflict away from family.

Money

A term budget that survives the first week, M-Pesa habits, and what to do when it runs out.

Freedom and its consequences

Alcohol, relationships, social media, and the decisions that follow a student for years.

Study and time

Attendance, deadlines, group work, and the difference between being busy and being on track.

Who you want to be

A picture of the graduate you intend to become, and the first steps toward it this term.

For parents

What you get each month

A short note on what the group covered and one thing to talk about at home. Sessions are group-based, a parent may join any in-person day, and nothing a student shares in the group is repeated by name.
